After graduating from Mizzou, I began teaching in Mexico, MO at the high school and then Missouri Military Academy. I am still active with the Alumni Association. We moved as a family to Kansas City and I taught special education for the North Kansas City School District until retirement. I also coached Special Olympics Swimming for 25 years. Coaching at the Y is how I got started as a lifeguard, swim instructor and now also a Red Cross trainer. My husband is a taxidermist. I work at his shop during the day sewing capes and swim at night. We have traveled extensively including South Africa now 9 times. We love to hunt, meet people around the world and out our toes the sand.

Student Council was always fun and very fun. I had great teachers and I feel like they prepared me for college. I loved being involved with the hockey program plus playing volleyball and softball. I have great memories of Webster.
